"Two things: 1) no grab bars to get in/out of the tub. I’m 79 years old and having something to hold onto offers a lot of security. 2) on Sunday morning the elevators were not working for some reason. People were using steps down to the ground floor but that door was locked! Up two flights to an open door. Had there been an emergency it would have proved to be very serious. You need your evacuation routes clearly marked. "

"The staff are amazing. Breakfast was also great and it's a Charming hotel with a lovely location. I do wish there had been blackout Shades in the room though there was a lot of light coming in at night"

"The staff is outstanding! The front desk lady was so helpful Saturday November 9th, 2024. Appreciated the hospitality! Unfortunately the hotel is very loud with guests motorcycles at night and too early morning. We were on the fourth and heard it very clear, with the kids in the next room as well. Otherwise great breakfast and clean hotel."

"The the room and hotel was excellent and the personnel and front desk were very courteous helpful and always went the extra mile! The coffee was always fresh and the breakfast was delicious. When we needed an extra time period to stay and the hotel was full. The front clerk later made a successful effort into getting us a room for several more days. We were able to relax even though we came from the West Coast that suffered from a surge and severe winds."

"Nice Motel, good room, Hot, sumptuous breakfast, good amenities, free onsite parking, fast internet, helpful, lovely reception staff, heater and A/C quiet and good, but a little bit of traffic noise, as windows are single pane, but we slept well because of, after a long drive."

"Husband and I came here for our anniversary! It was so close to ST.Johns we were able to shop and have dinner. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was so clean and nice! Staff were pleasant. The area around the hotel was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The brick road was a lovely touch to the area. We will be coming back because we loved it that much. 10/10 recommend!!!!!!!!!!"

"Great location. Easy access to major arteries. Didn’t like smell of pot in the Parking lot and people seemed to be sitting hours in their cars overnight. Not sure if that was a common thing but seemed pretty regular that weekend "

Girls Trip for Concert.

"Love this beautiful home. The home has a wonderful 1920s feel. The house was clean, the kitchen had everything needed to make a meal and bed’s were comfortable. Plus plenty of towels in each room. The historical home is about 2 miles away from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena which was perfect for our trip. The lovely front porch with swing and the sitting area in the back yard make a great place to enjoy your morning coffee which was provided. "

Cozy SMB Themed Apt in the Heart of Historic SPR!

Great Place for the Price

"We came into town for the FL/GA football game and after another management company cancelled on us one week before our trip, this property saved the day for us! The property was exactly as listed. The property management company couldn’t have been more attentive. They communicated the check-in instructions very clearly and were very prompt in answering any questions I had. The area is definitely undergoing a rejuvenation, but we felt safe and enjoyed the breweries and restaurants within walking distance. One thing I will note, there is definitely a lot of traffic noise, so be prepared for that. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to seeing what Springfield looks like on our next trip down! "

Our stay was fine but we wish we knew a few things before booking

"The location is close to things within walking distance, however there isn't much worth walking to & it doesn't seem like the best area to be walking. You can tell the city is working to make the area better, but it isn't there yet. I will say, at night everyone has cute lights set up, so that was pretty. We went to a liquor store but all of them have the liquor locked up behind the register if that tells you anything. Things we felt that were worth doing were at least a 15 minute drive away, which was no big deal but I wanted to share incase others were thinking there was more to do closer. There is also no driveway so you park on the street. It wasn't too hard to park but it might be for larger groups. The home was clean but we did see several dead bugs in the corners of rooms & under some harder to reach places. This made us feel like it wasn't cleaned as well as we would have liked. The sheets and towels were also clean but some of them were stained & had strands of hair stuck in them, I know this is hard to prevent, but it made them feel less clean. The house was nice, but it seemed like someone moved out and it was flipped into a rental in a weekend. There are holes in the walls where something was hanging and wasn't patched up & most things seemed quickly done. Again, it was nice but not as high end as the photos made us think. The king bed is not in the room with the bathroom (it's a queen). The rental is upstairs so if you have trouble with stairs this is not for you"

"The place was really nice, we enjoyed it! When we got there the issue was that they told us that it would be a pull out but they fixed the problem within a couple of hours. They bought an air bed and sheets and covers so that we could have a comfortable place to sleep. It was close to a lot of food places and stores which was convenient. And not too far from the beach which was about 30 minutes. Thank you all for a great stay! I will book my stay again here if I come back down any time soon! "

Spacious & Elegant - HUGE apt close to 3 breweries

Unsanitary Living Conditions

"We booked this house for an extended stay- 5 weeks. The pictures looked alright and notice there are no pictures of the exterior- there is a reason for it. The house had rat poop all over, had rotting, musty smell throughout, including the bed sheets. They had rats living under the floor boards in the kitchen- the rats would run around the house all night long and ate through our garbage the first night (the only night we stayed there). The pictures online are very photoshopped- the house is in a really bad condition. The floors have holes in them because they are rotting. One of the windows in the master had a broken window. The rug in the bathroom looked like it was never washed. The carpets had lots of stains everywhere. The smell was horrendous. We tried to communicate with the property management company, but they only had an email, and the phone number they provided- no one would answer. At first they tried to deny any of those things until we sent them pictures. Then they offered us another house, but they would not allow us to view it before moving over. Needless to say, we declined their offer and made a claim with VRBO. Thankfully VRBO sided with us after viewing the pictures and videos and refunded us. This was the worst experience ever."
