Browse thousands of works of art in the permanent exhibition. Some of the pieces date back as far as 2100 B.C. Admire Egyptian and Greek antiques that have survived thousands of years. See examples of Renaissance art on display. Temporary international exhibits pass through the museum for months at a time.

Take adult art classes at the Art Connections education centre.Enjoy a snack and a refreshing drink at the café outside as you admire picturesque views of the well-kept gardens. See the Cummer Oak, which is said to be between 175 and 200 years old. Its canopy stretches across 150 feet (46 metres). Enjoy the ponds, fountains and sculptures throughout the garden.

The museum was established in 1961 on the former home of residents Arthur and Ninah Cummer. It is open daily year-round except Mondays and certain national holidays. Opening times vary, so check the official museum website for details. There is an admission fee, except on Tuesday evenings and on the first Saturday of every month, when admission is free and tours are offered. Seniors, students and children have discounted entry.
