"We were very happy with our stay. Our room and bed were great. The staff were courteous. The breakfast was good considering the price of our stay. We enjoyed the treadmills in the workout room. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that the exit on our end of the building had a door that was broken and would only close if you pushed it closed. We saw it open numerous times which allowed cold air in and was a security risk. I mentioned it to management and they said they had people...

"We enjoy Hampton Inns, however this one was under construction and really torn up. I think the contractor(s) for the work could have done a much better job for the business without tearing up So much at one time. It took a bit away from our stay. "

"Definitely time for a complete renovation. The room has a bit of an off putting odor that I’m quite sure is due to the aged carpet in the room. Seems that it was probably renovated 8 to 10 years ago and is in dire need of this once again. Location is fine and staff is exceptional. Tim at the front desk was fantastic at our check-in."

"loved the large lobby area and the bar beside it--we had over 20 people in our group and could get together there-it was a nice historic building--carolines staff served our wedding group and was fantastic--front desk people were great-- just had problems with our keys not working and our room was cold---down to 55 in a.m. the a.c. kept kicking in around 5:00 a.m. but we lived through it!"
