"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "Lovely cottage with good wheelchair access. The owners provided 2 raised toilet seats so didn't need to take our own ones. Friendly, helpful considerate owners. Lovely views from patio & conservatory. The beds were so comfortable that we have decided to buy new mattresses for our home."

"The property was large and was a good base to use being about 20 minutes from a beach and about 10 minutes walk from a park with swings etc for the grandchildren. It was about 5 minutes drive from an Aldi and Lidl. "
