"The room we stayed has been recently refurbished - new bathroom and carpet. Quiet area with easy short walk to shopping and eating places. Room is spacious and good bathroom amenities. "

"Was a lovely place, didnt have a room service menu in the room ,it might have been on the tv ,love the chandelier & having 2 bars was nice Would have been nice to stay another night to explore more of the hotel "

"Wonderful stay at The Great Southern Hotel yesterday- experience was, on the whole- excellent, with staff who were extremely polite and helpful. I appreciated being able to store my luggage until my departure later today- and the breakfast was superb. One slight issue was dust and debris in parts of the room and bathroom- but I tend to clean areas myself before their use- so it was not a major fault at all. I was also charged $20 for a prepaid full breakfast, when the price listed was $17. (Not sure if it was a service charge- or what the reason was.) In spite of these minor issues I Will most certainly stay again. Thank you for your service."
