"I arrived to my booking for my self and my husband and daughters and pets for a funeral upon arrival with just my daughters and pets partner still on his way and the house was a 5 bedroom so called able to buy a booking to enjoy like a hotel and there was broken down cars everywhere on the driveway parts like a junk yard and OLD bus rusted down I went to just knock because of the confusion as I couldn’t park at this property I thought It’s someone’s house not a house to holiday home in and went...

"I really enjoyed the location of this property and how close to the beach it is. It was only a 5mins drive to the centre and all the shopping and eating opportunities. The outdoor courtyard was very private and nice to sit in and enjoy to beach air. Definitely planning on visiting again"

"We loved our mini break at House on a Rock - the house is lovely, the location incredible - amazing views of this beautiful part of the world. The location does mean access is tricky - challenging when you arrive with luggage and provisions for your stay. Not such an issue for us and the kids but it was not the easiest for my 85 year old Mother!! We all agree - House on a Rock was worth the effort. All in all - this is a special place and we hope to return."

"Our family had a fantastic stay. It was such a beautiful home and clean. The views were amazing. The lift was perfect for me as I can’t walk stairs. The beds were comfortable. Rebecca was a great host and very accommodating. A lovely little park up the street that our dog dragged my husband to everytime he went outside. Peaceful and beautiful area. Highly recommend staying here."

"Bedroom, kitchen and dinning are in good size. Bedroom is clean. However, the bedroom sofa provides little support. The two pillows are old, thin, lumpy and uncomfortable. The foam mattress sinks in so feel bad when waking up in the morning. The metal bed frame makes a squeaky noise when touching. The movable heater in the bedroom produces no heat. Common areas such as bathroom and kitchen need good scrub. Two of the 4-burners gas cooktop fails and those work, are terribly slow. The...

"This is the 5th time Ive stayed at the property in the last 6yrs and once again it was very enjoyable. Whilst the overall condition of the property has gradually gone downhill a bit the location and price cannot be matched. Located directly opposite the beach its the perfect summmer location."
