"This property was impressive, it never felt too over crowded and plenty of things to do. Free bike rental (along with kayaks and SUPs) was huge for us as you can take them off property and we like to explore the local shops, restaurants and bars! The dining options on resort are not super diverse, but the quality of food was excellent. Plus there are many local restaurants to scratch that itch! "

"If you are traveling to the Florida Keys I recommend staying in Islamorada. The view from our room was amazing. What a beautiful piece of property the Chesapeake Beach Resort sits on. It was clean, the staff were great, the breakfast was delicious. Chris will cook you a good omelette. G Parker"

"It was our first stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and an ample space. We loved that the flooring has been replaced with imitation of wood. The shower very nice and separated with a door from the toilet area. The ceiling fan needs to be clean, we noticed it was dirty. From what other family members commented some rooms do need a little loving care, specially those that still have an old rug and a tub instead of a shower. We also noticed that the hotel needs to hire a few more people. Some employees seem to be a little overworked and frustrated. "

"This is a great property with its own small beach, a tiki bar and a nice pool. Good breakfast included. Spacious rooms with outside seating area. Would recommend a stay here."
