"Nice hotel, clean and adequate room, although it needs updating. Unfortunately it’s the area around the hotel that lets it down. I witnessed 3 separate muggings on the street - including an older couple who were staying at the hotel. Not enough police presence. Unpleasant place to stay when you cannot relax. It’s a shame for Fuengirola but I will not be returning "

"I was told by agent that I could not have the property I paid for as booking was made on day I wanted to begin reservation as their deposit system couldn’t process less than 24 hours. He offered me another no deposit room but for €200 more. I almost paid it until I was told that the swimming pools were closed from September and lied about it being a city policy. It is not.
