"Apartment is new and very well appointed. There are 2 bedrooms - one has a western bed and the other has futons. Bedrooms are small and doesn’t have cupboards or other furnishings. That is fine because we spent most of our time in the living area. The kitchen is very complete and all utensils are provided. There are 2 separate toilet bowls but only a shared shower. "Beautiful property, the host will wait for you to check-in even if you encounter delays on your journey up to Kawaguchiko. The cottages were extremely clean and cozy, with a small soaking tub right outside of the bathroom. There are a few walkable Onsen nearby open late and there is a phenomenal Oden restaurant nearby open till 11pm."

"Lovely quirky hotel. It is quite basic but the rooms are clean (and have a great view of Mt Fuji!), and the communal lounge is great to hang out in. The staff are lovely and so helpful, the shuttle to and from the station was very helpful! Lots of restaurants within walking distance. "

"Property had doubled the price at check in and wanted us to pay them directly. I booked on Expedia thinking I had it all covered. Being in the middle of nowhere in a foreign county, I felt scammed. We had to look for a new place during the night on the fly. Worst part of our visit to Japan was this booking. I felt they knew they were the only option available nearby. "

"This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at. The design and functionality was unwatched. We had a personal onsen that was better than pictured and the closet and entryway provided lots of storage to keep our suitcases out of sight. I cannot reccomend this place enough. "The location of the hotel is a few minutes away from the lake and the bus stop. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. He took us to a few spots to see MT Fuji when he knew we have no car. "We attend one night while visiting Kawaguchiko. Our room was lovely with a large bathroom with a wonderful bathtub, a nice covered patio and plenty of room to be comfortable. The front desk held our luggage when we arrived and delivered it to our room so it was ready for us when we returned to the hotel. Breakfast was also very good. Would definitely stay again. "
