"We loved our stay here! Based on reviews, I made sure we had instructions for check in the day before, so everything went smoothly. The private onsen and view of the lake was AMAZING. We could see the the Hakone shrine gate from our living room. Extra food amenities in the frig for us was a great touch. Only glitch was that we couldn’t get the vending to work to refill coffee. But once our Japanese friend joined us, it worked on her phone. Restaurants close early in Hakone, about 5-6pm, so eat early or it’s Seven eleven (which we actually liked!) Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Wonderful stay here. Very authentic onsen experience. All inclusive was great with access to the lounge. Kaiseki dinner was wonderful. Breakfast has a lot of options. The gardens were stunning. The evening drum performance and bingo was great fun. Unfortunately it was cloudy and rainy for our short stay so we couldn’t see Mt Fuji but the hotel made our stay just as pleasurable even without seeing the view."
