"My partner, baby daughter, mother and I had a great time in Madeira. The house was perfect and only a short walk down the hill to the old town of Funchal. It was a very clean and stylish place with a lovely garden and great views of town. Carolina was very helpful and was always on hand for help. I would definitely recommend the house to anybody visiting Madeira and would stay here again on a return trip to the island. Matt"

"This hotel is an historical building with quite beautiful architecture. However it lacks many amenities of newer hotels such as AC, hair dryers and a fridge. The rooms and furnishings are very dated but fit into the character of the building. The area is quiet and not touristy which is nice for those who prefer this. We only ate in the restaurant for breakfast and it was pretty good. We did find ants in our room but the employees were very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable in...
