"The hotel is very small and in a semi-rural area of Kyoto. However there is a 7-eleven situated literally across the road from it, making it a little bit more convenient. The staff and service were excellent. The free amenities were excellent. The room had a washing machine, drying machine, stove, microwave and kettle. Everything you need for a trip. Overall 5 stars. "

"A great place to visit the south/east side of Kyoto. Lovely building with good facilities and a cute garden as the pictures show. We stayed in mid/late February and found that it was rather cold, but this is normal for residential buildings in Japan. The air conditioner was used to heat the house and this was adequate. This is a spacious option for 2-4 people and a welcome change from western style hotels that tend to be more cramped."

"The property is amazing, i was upgraded to royal upon arrival. The room is very large with all aminities u want, (massage chair, jackuzi, sauna, steam, out door hot tub) they provide basic in room breakfast but was not bad. "It is a " love hotel " which it doesnt tell you on expedia , and the location is far away from everything including the train ( 2km) 30 min walk . But as a hotel it was great !! Clean and cleaned every day clean towels , sheets, a Great jacuzzi tub and a good shower . Everything you could want in a room.
