"The evening shows were great. Zero to very short wait for restaurants. Rooms were cool. Water hot. Great water pressure. Special requests were accommodated. Staff super friendly. Walking distance to shops. Felt safe. All rooms have good ocean view. Food always available regardless of time of day. The neon party at the neighboring RIU was super fun for all ages, shapes and sizes—don’t miss out! Saw a couple beach vendors but they didn’t stay long. "Lots for kids to do. Live the games room and indoor pool option. Service from staff at buffet was top notch. Only complaint I have is no coffee maker in the room and the coffee cart does not open until 7:30 am. I’m up at 4 am and like to enjoy a couple cups of coffee before I start my day. "

"The absolute best thing about this property is the staff. They are fabulous - beautifully trained, thoughtful, kind, engaging, helpful and charming. No matter which department, they cannot do enough for the guests. The property itself is a little dated and a little noisy but after one has been there for about two hours, one no longer notices. This is an unbelievably well run and well organized property."

"Izla is amazing. We will be returning. We stayed with our children and it was safe, clean, and gorgeous. The pool is excellent and the beach access is a dream. I much prefer the south end of the island. A bit removed from the hustle of the north end, quiet and peaceful but only a 15 min cart of ride into the busier area. stay here. Get a cart. You won’t regret it. "
