The owners’ house and one other rental is on the same property, but they’re spaced far enough for plenty of privacy. "A great place to spend the holiday with our kids, grandkids and their dogs. Rooms were comfortable. Hot tub was great. A special touch was wood was provided for the fireplace on this ultra cold holiday weekend."

Big deal for us is that the photos and descriptions are an accurate depiction of the property and they were. We were looking for a nice out-of-the-way cabin with a Lakeview and it lived up to expectations. Owners were very helpful when we had a couple hiccups trying to check in in the dark. Very responsive. "As others noted Jim is by far the best host we’ve ever experienced. Really nice and responsive person. The house is older as stated but the club house with the pool table and entertainment center, all the outdoor seating areas and hot tub made it a really comfortable property to be at. The beds were VERY comfortable. Some of the best. It also was a quiet property surprisingly (for Nola). Thank you Jim, we really appreciated the hospitality!"

"Clean, quiet attached apartment space close to everything, including a park that was great for walking the dogs. Home was without stairs which was perfect for us. Have to mention the heated tile floor in bathroom which was a treat I wasn’t expecting! The roaming chickens were cute except when they pooped on the welcome mat, but free eggs for breakfast made up nicely "

"My wife and I spent 4 nights at this unit from Saturday 10/26/24 thru Wednesday 10/30/24. We had tickets to the Sunday night Taylor Swift concert. We couldn’t have been happier staying here. Perfectly located and walking distance to the French Quarter and The Superdome. Great communication throughout our stay and the unit was very clean and had all the amenities that were advertised.
