"What a great ryokan experience! Definitely a highlight of our trip. This was our introduction to an onsen and it was perfect. The meals are a must! The food is so fresh and delicious. "We had a truly memorable stay at the beautiful Kinsuikan in Miyajima. The property itself is in an incredible location, a very short walk from the ferry with spectacular views. The amenities are excellent and include a complementary streetside coffee bar, as well as a rooftop terrace with free beverages and snacks. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We were lucky enough to experience several different rooms and suites. The suites are spacious and luxuriously appointed. It was wonderful to come home to the Kinsuikan after a day exploring the island and I would highly recommend this ryokan to anyone visiting the area."

"This quaint little hostel in the country was our first experience at a hostel. People were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the third floor and there was no elevator. The room we had chosen was a Japanese style room. We got to the room and at bedtime had to make our beds on the floor (not complaining just stating facts). There was a cafe in the lobby/lounge area. The food was good and pretty inexpensive. The place is also filled with manga, ping pong, game systems and other fun things for guests to do. Other rooms were themed rooms (as one of the other guests was very excited about their space themed room). The hostel was about a five-ten minute walk from a small train stop that took you to hiroshima or to the ferry for miyajima."
