Michel, our bell hop, was the the only redeeming quality.
The room was damp, musty, the A/C poor, the bathroom ceiling was falling, the enamel on the tub was missing large chunks, the ventilation duct had mildew surrounding it, there was construction going on in the next unit with a hammer drill or grinder running for long periods, the window didn’t open properly, the “pool” was never open. They discontinued our room key early and when they “fixed” that by giving us a new card, the new new card did not work for the electricity. Oh, and the price was ridiculous. That about sums up our experience at Hotel Pobre.
