"This hotel goes to great lengths to be environmentally friendly. The pool area is beautiful. The pictures in the room are nice. There’s two different areas to play games, and they have board games that you can borrow. They also have a borrowing library. They have a fan in each room. That’s really nice at night. Great gardens just outside the rooms with plant identification there. You can book a massage right here at the hotel. Live music on some nights. Convenient access to a nice restaurant right next-door. Lovely Koi pond, right in front by the reception. New furniture in the rooms and fresh sheets. I enjoyed it here. The area felt safe too. Quick on and off to the main roads to get to the Volcano National Park about 35-40 minutes away. "

"Very conveniently located near downtown and within walking distance of everything. Facilities are very nice and they are currently upgrading Lagoon Tower. The on-site restaurant is very good - especially for breakfast (loved the sweet bread French toast). Rooms were spacious with refrigerator and coffee maker - we had two beds in our room. Balcony with a partial ocean view. Would definitely recommend!"

"We had a 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo that had a full sized kitchen. The room had a view of the ocean, which was a bonus. It was convenient having the 2 bathrooms even though it was just the 2 of us. They have a washer and dryer in the unit. Plus, they furnish all the soaps and some lotion. The lania has a table with 4 chairs. They have daily activites you can participate in. They do ask if you would be interested in participating in their 90 minute talk for free stuff, since they are a timeshare property. They don't hassel you when you decline. Over all, we plan on staying here again. "

"We stayed at this resort as a couple for five days during the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, offering direct access to the beach, two inviting pools, and all the amenities you need to unwind and enjoy your time, whether you’re traveling with kids or not. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. The dining options were a highlight: • Piko was our go-to for drinks and coffee—a great spot to start or end the day. • Ikena offered a fantastic breakfast buffet that we highly recommend. The selection was excellent, and the pricing was very reasonable. • Naupaka served great drinks and delicious food, with a healthy menu option we really appreciated. • Meridia, unfortunately, fell short of expectations. While the location and views are beautiful, the cocktails were overly sugary and disappointing—stick to wine if you visit. The food quality was subpar and didn’t justify the high prices. • Engawa was exceptional and a standout experience for us. The healthy, innovative dishes made it a must-try for anyone looking for something unique. Overall, the resort was amazing, and we had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. The convenience of having everything we needed right there added to the sense of ease and comfort. We would definitely recommend it for a holiday getaway!"
