"We had a great experience staying at Yumotokan. The dinner was exceptional (very filling!) and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. "I’ve been to many capsules across Japan and my stay here was at the too. Yes, I’ve stayed in Kyoto, Osaka, but wanted to spend a few days in Ōtsu and experience a slower pace and so glad I did! The reviews on Google and Orbitz rated The Calendar high so I gave it a try and I was not disappointed. However, I do need to mention if you are sensitive to smell you might notice the slight scent of smoke. The entire capsule is non-smoking, however there is a smoking room, that when smokers return it...

"The room was the usual size for business hotels. The bed was maybe a double but definitely not a single. I slept soundly and I was very comfortable.
