"phenomenal staff went out of the way to help make our trip special in anyway they could. Breakfast was outstanding, charcuterie board was also worth ordering. No restaurant for dinner in the hotel with very limited options nearby "

"Staff were excellent, and very hospitable. The food at their restaurant/cafe was simply superb. The room was decent, pretty much as advertised. A couple of minor issues about the facilities were brought to the owners' attention, but otherwise, the stay was a very pleasant experience. Thank you!"

"We were in the riverside lodge and although the lodge was lovely it lacked privacy as the hot tub and decking area was fully visible to people walking past from the nearby bridge, passersby could see right in to the accommodation. The lodge probably wasn’t worth the total amount of money we spent but it is a beautiful setting. The lodges are marketed as luxury, but we wouldn’t class the ‘level’ of luxury as commensurate to the price - the breakfast was pleasant but basic and the shower/toilet...
