The cleaning is very good, they even washed the dishes. The reception staff is unfriendly and I perceived racial discrimination in some of them. The hotel does not have enough parking. I stayed 5 nights and we had to walk 30 minutes to the nearest parking lot every time we needed to use the car we rented.

In waking distance to the zoo and beach. The staff was a bit unfriendly and the parking was horrible. The hotel had no parking available to the hotel guest. When asking front desk where we could park they weren't any help. We paid for a side street parking of $57 for 1 night.

Pictures Posted on the website are outdated. The pictures look like it was when they first opened. So when you go onto the property, it looks like the picture, but very run down. It smells Smokey, and moldy. My son’s asthma acted up while in the room. They “upgraded” us to another room, but my son began to experience a burning sensation in his eyes along with trouble breathing and they refuse to refund. That’s how they catch you. So we left still having to pay the one night stay even though it was a health issue for my son

Room was on 2nd floor facing alley. Multiple trash trucks came through no less than 4 different days, starting at 4am. Housekeeping started vacuuming at 6:30am, outside our door. We requested single queen bed. Were given the option of 2 twin beds pushed together, or 2 full beds in ADA compliant room, or a king bed for $20 extra/night. We took the ADA room. Shower head was 5' off the floor. If touched, it fell off the wall. Water hit the curtain and landed on the floor outside the shower, wetting floor of entire bathroom. Front desk people were very nice and helpful

Good economy hotel in the old Waikiki beach district. It is an older hotel that has been refurbished in simple and pragmatic way that functions well and gives good shelter and a great bed and nice modern bathroom fixtures, and the best thing is that is just 1 city block from the ocean beach !

You definitely get what you pay for so I guess we can't be too upset. I read and read reviews and thought it would be a good place. There were roaches, we didn't get the king room we booked, and we didn't even try the "kitchen" because the burners didn't even look like they worked. After a long flight there, I was so upset about the roaches.

Disappointing experience. - During my 6-night stay, my room was cleaned only once. Whenever I tried to request cleaning, I was either told it was too late or that all cleaning services were booked. - The property is extremely old with a stuck balcony door requiring staff assistance, and the phone in the room didn’t work at all. - On top of that, I accidentally booked the hotel twice for the same dates and didn’t receive a refund for one of the bookings. - The only positive was the location, but overall, this hotel is far below expectations, and I would not recommend it.

Good enough. Other than one late night clerk the staff were very helpful. Beach towels and chairs were an unexpected bonus. (Ask) They've done what they can to renovate but it will always be an old building with alley views.
