"A unique place to stay that really ticked the boxes - I stayed as part of a group and each of us enjoyed the experience, the birds, meerkats, tortoises & reptiles adding to an amazing stay! The bird show (included in price) was good and the staff extremely knowledgeable - the self contained rooms were very clean & comfortable and having a kitchenette with fridge/toaster etc was perfect, the en-suite shower room was large & again very clean - highly recommend a stay here!"

"Overall a good hotel. Service marked down slightly due to the fact that I waited 10 minutes for someone from the restaurant to seat me, I had to find said person as it seemed that everyone was occupied with a function within the hotel. Great breakfast buffet offering. "

"We had a lovely stay in the March Shepherds Hut for 3 nights and were really pleasantly surprised at how much thought had gone into the Hut. We didn't need anything except food. Tea and coffee and milk had been provided as well as some marshmallows and hot chocolate. There was a separate shed set up as a kitchen and superb toilet and shower facilities. It's one of the best glamping experiences we've had. Adam the host is a really warm welcoming guy. We loved waking up to the animals everyday and...

"Quirky! Low ceilings, uneven floors, very old building. Landlord is friendly, as are the staff. Good breakfasts! Live music some evenings. Enjoyed the stay. Very convenient for visiting my mum!"
