it was difficult to get into the imperial palace. You have to queue up for a ticket at 9.30 and 1pm. They give out 300 tickets at each time. We did not realise this when we went there

Good value, we liked this quieter side of Shinjuku but the bathroom has an awful sewer smell all the time. If the bathroom door is closed it’s fine.
Overall, for the price we loved the space was we had 4 large suitcases, 1 carry on and 4 large back packs. We are a family of 4 travelling, so space was important for us.
