Waking up to views of the canals and walking out into the heart of the city was a dream. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with local recommendations and planning. They made navigating Venice so much easier and added a personal touch to our stay that we deeply appreciated. The hotel itself was immaculate—beautifully maintained, with charming details throughout that reflect the elegance and history of Venice. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed, making it easy to relax after long days of sightseeing. In every way, the Royal Marco Hotel made our trip to Venice unforgettable. "Old world charm with modern amenities like private baths and a lovely breakfast included. It was the perfect send off having coffee on the Grand Canal. Staff was friendly and polite. I did ask about airport transfer and was only given two pricy options, I would also have appreciated something along the lines of "...also the bus station is a less than 10 minute walk with an express bus." That is my only ding...but I get it and it's more a buyer beware comment. I was there one night and I really loved the space and Venice!"

"Honestly the best hotel you could ever wish to stay in. The staff were absolutely amazing, the location on the Grand Canal is faultless. The rooftop bar with views of the Rialto are some of the best in Venice. If you are looking for a hotel to stay in which is close to everything, this is the one. It’s next to a Water Bus stop that takes you direct to the airport. I wish I could give this hotel more than 5 stars as it exceeds all expectations."
