"Great location...5 min uber from the station, 15 walk by foot...did both. Checking in was mayhem...not enough staff, big line, automated process auto check in, my reservations could not be found but eventually got help. "The basic rooms are small but the property is centrally located in Tokyo and very close to the Higashishinjuku-shinjuku subway station. The breakfast (in the attached Royal Host restaurant) is a little chaotic. If you eat breakfast later rather than earlier, they run out of items like bread and milk. They replenish some of those items, like milk, but not others. There is a good coffee machine, many juices, cold and cold teas, as well as a few breakfast items from which to choose."
