"We stayed here about 9 years ago and chose to stay again. Our room was the type that has a 'backyard' with our own hot spring (think jacuzzi with a water fall feature, surrounded by plants and flowers, and heated by a volcano). The thermal forest and hot springs near the main pool were also amazing and a nice option between La Fortuna adventures, or when the rain forest is 'doing it's job' (aka raining). The hotel has also added a large covered area with sofas and comfy chairs and tables to allow for protection from the rain, but still to be outside and with views of the trees and plants."

"The view at this resort was beautiful. The pool was a big hit with our family and ee werw able to get a taste of the wildlife (toucans, other birds). The rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious. The facility was well maintained. I'd recommend this resort for couples or for a family. A 15 min drive from the town center. Perfect if you have a vehicle. "

"This place is top of the heap!! I have stayed at lots of quality resorts and this one is on top of the list.. check in was easy, room was awesome, food and restaurants were great and plentiful. You can get a golf cart to shuttle you around or walk.. the property is beautiful and has three resorts to wander thru to eat, get coffee, jump in the thermal baths, or go to one of their three spas.. its a must try and the people are also awesome!! "

"We stayed in the villa which was perfect for a family of four with teenage kids. The hotel had a wonderful position overlooking the volcano and was well situated for activities and getting into Fortuna. The staff were great with a specific call out for Maurizio. Great stay and happy to recommend."
