"The room was lovely but the bathroom was freezing cold because it had no radiator in there so it made it really uncomfortable having a shower because it was like an ice block and you couldn't leave the door open because the cold came into the bedroom making that room cold but apart from that it was lovely."

"The hotel is in a quiet rural area out of town. It would be beneficial if you have a car, but there is a good bus service and the bus stop is across the road from the hotel. When we were there the hotel was being renovated but we never found this a problem and everyone was very helpful, lovely staff."

"Very traditional 500 year old Tudor house. It’s beautiful. Has its quirks - sloping squeaky floors, uneven walls, nooks & crannies & so much history! The landlady is a fabulous baker, serving up all homemade mince pies, millionaires shortbread & a homemade bread as part of breakfast! She even makes her own jams & chutneys - I bought 2 to bring home. It’s like staying in a home from home. It’s warm, welcoming, cosy & so homely.
