"Excellent value for money. Lovely countryside setting and no frills, clean and tidy hotel. Set in well maintained grounds. Ample on site parking. Our second stay here whilst meeting friends in York.
We had to leave before breakfast due to a family emergency so did not experience the breakfast sadly.
Will certainly use Burn Hall again.

"As a three star, this was good, we had a lovely room on the top floor, and received a friendly welcome. Really good location in the centre of such a pretty town Bedale. "
"This was perfect for a one night stay. At £78 per night I guess that’s a mid price range for pub accommodation. It was a lovely spacious, clean room.
My only criticism would be that the whole accommodation area would benefit from from some redecoration as it looked a little tired. "

"Stayed in a King bed with a pull out couch for our son. The pull out had it's own attached room which was nice. Staff stored our luggage when we arrived before check in time and provided us with a map and tips on sight seeing and restaurants."

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was ready 4 hours early so we were able to check straight in. Really handy as they have lockers you can leave your stuff in to go back and collect after you’ve checked out, saves you having to carry big bags and cases around York with you. We will definitely be back. Perfect location to, only a 10 minute walk to York city centre. "
