"The best of both worlds, a modern hotel conveniently located in Edinburgh’s Old Town. Very walkable to major attractions. We had an air conditioned castle view room (not all rooms are air-conditioned!) with a great view, but on the weekend the Grassmarket area is really hopping until the small hours, so it can be pretty loud. Hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating, amenities are good however the restaurant was closed for part of our stay so can’t comment on that. If you are driving, there is very limited parking behind the hotel through an alleyway, we were fortunate to get a spot. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Edinburgh. Good value for money and excellent location."

"Beautiful hotel in what looks like a castle. The grounds and indoor spaces are stunning. Great food, drinks, and service. Possibly the best indoor swimming pool I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Can definitely recommend!"

"The hotel is very convenient for Murrayfield and Haymarket train station. We had a triple room which was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The shower was great, too. We chose to have the buffet breakfast included in our stay. The food was tasty and really did set us up for the day. Would definitely stay again when visiting Edinburgh."

"Front desk guys were very welcoming , friendly and helpful! The staff in charge of the kitchen not so kind , they were somehow rude to help when asked a question During breakfast time . Good location. Not so close by foot to the city center, but easy access by buss which stop it right outside the hotel. We had a great stay overall. "
