"El habernos hospedado en Igloo Beach Lodge fue una excelente decisión. Las niñas disfrutaron de la piscina muchísimo. Vimos 2 tipo de monos en la copa de los árboles así como mucho pájaros. El staff fue muy atento. A pesar de ser una habitación pequeña, nos pudimos acomodar muy bien los cuatro (2 adultos y 2 niñas). Nos encantó la experiencia. La localidad es ideal para visitar el parque Manuel Antonio. Lo único que no recomiendo es visitar la playa en la tarde/noche debido a que no es seguro....

"We enjoyed our stay there. The check in was easy and friendly. The breakfast had many options and was good. On a day we had an early tour we could ask for an early breakfast which was so nice. The patio on the room was great and the gardens beautiful!! The best part was the location of the hotel which was close to the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park. We could hear the howler monkeys in the mornings. "

"Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Roca. Great views and the pool area was lovely. Also was super convenient for the beach and local shops & restaurants. Very sociable venue too. The breakfast options really require upgrading: their continental breakfast was just fruit & toast, with no options. The facilities generally could also do with an upgrade. We would stay here again. "Friendly staff Person at the reception gave us very good advice on things to do, places to eat, etc. The restaurant staff was very courteous. Free breakfast was not included but they prepared breakfast for us early morning (restaurant prices) because we had to leave for our tour. The wood fired pizza at the restaurant was delicious. They even had live music that day. Room was cozy. Balcony had a lush green view. "

"ECOTICA was clean, with a beautifully maintained pool and breakfast area. We saw more wildlife lounging at the resort than in the national park, including two scarlet macaws that spent the entire morning over the pool, squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, and toucans. The food, however, was Americanized. The on-site YOLO restaurant is American food and music, and was quite loud until about 10 pm. While the resort was excellent in terms of service, amenities, etc., I can't recommend visiting Manuel...

"Although the property is quite dated and needs a bit of refurbishing it is still a nice place to stay with large rooms, comfortable bed and hot showers. The breakfast options are good and filling with various well priced dinners available. The hotel is located on quite a steep hill if walking but there is a local bus service every 20 minutes. Overall the place is good value and worth staying if you want somewhere cheaper than central Manuel Antonio, which is just down the road anyway."
