Very nice traditional past era property to stay in, great views from the window and close short bus ride to Victoria station so easy to get around, bus stops close by, local convenience shops in walking distance

Good location close to Metro station and again served by buses. Room is adequate, though small. Not particularly good if you have lots of luggage because of narrow stairs and limited floor space in room.

Ended up booking into another hotel as the place was incredibly run down with a lock that I couldn’t trust as it took several attempts from the receptionist to manage to get it to lock on exiting the room (the barrel was rotating in the lock). The state of the room was also very run down.

It was dire. First impression the room looked like a prison cell. The mattress was sunken and the springs could be felt all night. Shower door was broken Down in the basement laminate floor was peeling and worn. Have never stayed in such an awful room. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL

Avoid this place at all cost the beds are invested with bed bugs we had to leave asit was invested with them and when we told the man he said yeah i know all the rooms are the same. The plug was ripped of the wall the hotel was filthy there was washing and rubbish just left in the hall way

Hotel is located in an excellent area, next to the city centre, Victoria Station is at few mins walk. Price is very reasonable. Reception staff was very friendly and polite although the areas and the bathroom wasn’t very clean, I guess there’s an issue of dirty water coming back into the toilet.

It was a single room but I barely had space to move around in the room. The single room is somewhat abnormal to me.it does not worth the price tag. In addition, this room offered me a terrible single bed experience. I camped there for just two days and I woke up with bad back every single day. I do not recommend.

We are surprised that Expedia listed this property on their website. The hotel's rooms are not safe—the walls near the bed and the radiator are full of mold, which can be harmful to breathe. The beds are very uncomfortable, the rooms are too small, and there is no air conditioning, no Wi-Fi, and no customer service. The bathrooms are in poor condition; water remains in the washbasin and standing shower. The washbasin is extremely small, measuring only 8 by 6 inches, like a child's toy. We have pictures to share as evidence. There is no space in the room or bathroom to store personal belongings. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone, even if they offered a free stay." The reception area is a desk in a cupboard. We were escorted to our room but advised we could not have the key to the room & they would let us in when we needed to get back in. It was myself & my daughter and neither of us felt safe. Needless to say we left & found another hotel nearby.

Upon entering the room you can hear dripping water the mattress was wafer thin and concaved no tv within the room when someone used the shower in the floors above the water can be heard in the courtyard outside the window meaning it’s not properly connected to a waste pipe. The most uncomfortable night sleep so much so the 2 day visit I had planned I checked out after 1 night if you could give 0 stars I would
