This is the best hotel I have stayed in a long time. Even the ‘smaller’ interior room feels luxurious. The staff is amazing. Everything About the standard is a TEN!

Everything was great But was woken up at 4 am with a group of ppl on the balcony chopsin after asking then shouting at them rang front desk it stopped at 5:20 But the hotel I will return.

Have stayed in various hotels in London and this one was definitely in my top picks. Great location (next to King's Cross & St. Pancras stations), nice restaurants/bars inside the hotel with delicious food. Room service was fast and responsive. The room was comfortable and warm (which is nice when London is usually quite damp in November/December). Only small observations worth noting was the shower was quite small and the windows did open but it was very noisy outside with traffic so had to keep them closed.

You sometimes find that rare hotel that speaks to you, and that is The Standard for me. Modern 70's decor invites you to a very welcoming reception. The Cozy room isn't for everyone, but it is my perfection with no windows, a wrap-around corner couch, with a fusion of Japanese influence and geometric business faux leather straps. My pictures don't do justice to the website since the room is exactly as pictured. Staff extremely helpful and accommodating, I needed an iron and board for a conference and this was brought to my room while I was out. During peak times the price won't be worth it for many people, but with its prime location near King's Cross St. Pancras and Euston station, I'm sure I will be staying again in the future.

Quirky and stylish hotel. Room was spacious with nice little touches like a pour over coffee brewer with ground coffee, and a Bluetooth speaker (although we couldn’t get this to work with our device for some reason). We didn’t spend any time in the restaurant or bar, but explored then briefly and they had a really nice relaxed atmosphere. For some reason the room got uncomfortably hot overnight, despite starting the night with the temperature control nearly at minimum, and the flow control at max. Had to get up at about 4am to turn the control to minimum temperature, which did improve comfort but overall resulted in a disturbed night. Front desk staff were helpful and mentioned that we could have called them at any time, but to be honest I just wanted to go back to bed asap! The only other thing I would improve is that the shower head was quite blocked with scale, and is probably the kind of thing that easily gets missed or not tested when cleaning. Overall a really pleasant experience.

What a wonderful hotel! From the lovely check in staff, to the beautiful room, we had an amazing stay. We were celebrating an anniversary, and received a lovely card and bottle of prosecco. Such a lovely surprise. The bed was large and very comfortable, the view over London, with the Shard, was spectacular. We would recommend this lovely hotel, and hope to return again soon.Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
