But both rooms were very nice and felt luxurious. The location along the river is very nice and quiet since it is not right in the center of town. Given its age the hotel has been maintained to a very high standard and oozes old world charm. The staff are all very helpful and the food is excellent - try the Lao omelette for breakfast."
