The Management Company looked after a couple of issues which arose, including loss of hot water, very quickly. Makry Gialos is a fantastic and authentic resort, away from the tourist hot spots. "When we first arrived I was worried that the villa was too remote but we were close to 2 beautiful beaches and the town was only a 10 minute drive. The pool area was lovely with great views and it was good to have all en suite rooms."

The key doesn’t fit the front door properly and the owner was on in contactable so it was all a bit of a fraught start. Spoke to the owner two days later, who said that I had her landline number and not her mobile. Hence she didn’t reply when we couldn’t get into the property.
