"Perfectly located by the station which was our main reason for selecting this hotel for our stay this time due to an early train with luggage. From walking through the reception we were so surprised about the quality of the furnishings, the decor and the politeness of all staff. The rooms was perfect for an overnight stay and well priced. "
"The location of the property is excellent, as you can easily walk to all airport terminals without the need for transportation. The room is confortable and clean, so we were happy with our stay. The only issue was that the booking was supposed to include a bottle of wine, however all we got was a glass per person."
"Lovely hotel although judging by our room perhaps could do with an update in some areas. Only ate breakfast there but that was great with lots of choice. One thing to mention; the in-room safe was located on a high shelf inside the wardrobe which for a person of my height (5ft) made it difficult to access. "
"The staff at the Residence Inn Marriot in Piccadilly were exceptional! They provided us with personalized directions when asked and were always friendly and positive. They greet you upon arrival and wish you well as you walk out of the hotel. Everyone from the front desk, to the breakfast personnel, housekeepers, and evening concierge attendants were excellent. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival and allowed to check in early since we arrived at lunchtime. It was a wonderful experience to...

"We were charged twice for the Manchester tax by the hotel. But as it was only £1.20 ish we didn’t mind so much. The bed wasn’t so comfortable, a new mattress is probably needed. It was too soft for me. The deco in the corridors could do with touching up. "

"The building, both inside and out, is stunning. The lobby area is absolutely gorgeous. The attached restaurant and pub, The Refuge, was top class and a lot of fun. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. I did get a very creepy feeling later that evening from our room and the hallway. I asked the receptionist if the place was haunted. She said, "oh yeah, but mostly in the second floor". We were on the third, so no worries. I love quirky places anyhow. It was overall an amazing stay. Glad I booked"

"My expectations were low given the review score, but I was pleasantly surprised and thought the hotel was great value for money. The hotel is a little dated but clean and comfortable and had everything I needed in a hotel on a city break - hot shower, comfy bed, hairdryer… staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great- less than ten mins walk from the main coach station where i arrived and departed from and i loved the area overall - lots of cute independent bars and restaurants in the little streets around it and lots of great street art too. The only thing worth mentioning is to maybe avoid booking the windowless rooms in summer as they’re very warm! I raised this with reception straight away to see if they could cool the room somehow and they kindly moved me to a room with.a window instead. But overall I thought it was great value for money given the price point and would definitely stay there again. "
