"The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with a fantastic view. The bed was super-comfortable. The meals were all excellent and there was lots of variety. Reservations weren’t required at the restaurants and we never had to wait to get in. The entertainment was spectacular, especially the circus show (although they could dial the volume down a notch from ear-splitting to just loud). We enjoyed the activities such as sea kayaking, volleyball, and pool exercise. The beach is uncrowded, beautiful with calm water, and you can take long walks, unlike many places in PV. We also took advantage of the spa and had great massages at a reasonable price. But the best part was the super-friendly, attentive, and competent staff. Although they were working hard, they seemed to be having so much fun that it was almost like they were fellow vacationers. Unfortunately, I have forgotten many of their names, but Kevin and Antonio on the activities staff, anf Henri on the waitstaff of the Mexican restaurant stand out. My only complaint was the loud music that played throughout the resort, often late into the night. This was especially true the first few days we were there. I guess it’s to be expected at a Hard Rock Hotel, but at times when we wanted to just enjoy the calm beach or relax and read by the pool it was distracting. Later in the week it wasn’t as much of a problem — I’m not sure if we just got used to it or it just varies throughout the week. All in all, we had a great time."

"We had a great experience. The location for an all inclusive is fantastic, within walking distance to the malecon and lots of local culture - a great choice if you want the all inclusive but have the city still be accessible. The food was quite good, albeit somewhat limited by the resort being a little small. Staff were very friendly. Pool was great and nice beach. It gets a little sleepy after 8 pm as the pool closes and there is usually 1 music act with not a ton of seating, but at least the bar remains open and you can always explore the city that is at your fingertips. Overall would recommend this place!"
