"We had a great stay at Ichika Machiya Holiday House. It was close to the train station and lots of great restaurants. The house was very very nice and clean. Thank you for a great stay!

"You can’t do much better than this when staying in Takayama. Right next to the station and walking distance to key attractions. The family suite was amazing and my daughters loved the camping play room and projector. The breakfast was perfect and the staff couldn’t be any more helpful. Great value stay!"

"A wonderful, unique, and meaningful stay for our family of four. This inn offers an authentic, traditional Japanese experience with superior care and fabulous food (you MUST add the dinner experiences!). We will remember it always."
