"Our cottage was located about 30 minutes north of Bordeaux in a very quiet community. The owners lived right on the property and if we needed anything we’re just a knock on the door away. The unit itself reminded us of our lake cottage with cozy but somewhat outdated furniture. But that suited us just fine. Our main purpose was to have a home base to visit wine chateaus and it was perfect for that. "

The pool was heated which was a bonus. There was plenty of outside space for relaxing and dining. Inside, the living area was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. "The owner of the house, Flo, was very helpful as our stay of 10 days was longer than the normal stay. We based out of the house in Bordeaux and did spend several nights out in other parts of the area. It is well located with easy access to bus for the train station and tram to go further downtown. "
