"The good: FASTEST hotel check in ever. Rarely waited for elevator. Cozy room. Reasonably priced. The Eh: Shower was tiny, but worse was that it was either too hot or cold. Very little temp range. Stairwell was dirty. View from the 2nd floor overlooked construction equipment. Room was noisy from the outside."

"The street noise was minimal, because of very good windows. However the AC fan in the room was very noisy and woke us at night. There was an issue with the bathroom towels which were only partially replaced daily and we had to ask the desk to get more. The amount of soap and shampoo was minimal and not replenished every day if not specifically asked at the desk."

"The Renwick was a great find! we were looking for a hotel near, but not in, Times Square and this fit the bill perfectly. Really cool decor, patterned after famous writers. Comfortable beds. Great bar/restaurant right next door. Really just a terrific team working at the place. We will return!"

"I always stay at Freehand when I am visiting the city for work trips which is a few times a year. It is spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable as well. I love the cafe for breakfast and the hotel restaurants and bars are great. The only downfall is if they are closed for private events. "
