"We had an amazing family time at Crowne Plaza. Perfect location and accessible to public transport just in front of the hotel. Kids had fun in the pool. The room was clean and had the perfect view on the river and the crown flames at night. Lots of restaurants around and in the building whcih even offer room services. We will definitely come back. "

"Excellent room with all of the facilities that you could want. (Stove, Microwave, Large fridge etc.). Good service and room had a balcony but unfortunately not much of a view. Only slight problems were that the TV was far too small & no face washers. "

"A perfect place to stay in Melbourne and within walking distance to the Aus Open. Great, friendly service from all the hotel team we encountered. Loads of great eating places nearby too! Paid valet parking right next door looked after our car which was not needed as everything is within walking distance … or catch a tram/bus if you need to go out further afield. Would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne."

"Great base of operations for a few nights in the city. Good size rooms, very clean and comfortable spaces. A minor request (for soy milk) got forgotten both times I stayed, which is an odd but tiny annoyance. Staff are always lovely when reminded. Rooms have a full kitchen but you need to request cookware etc if you need it (I actually prefer this, you know it is clean and can ask for exactly what you need). Surprisingly quiet at night too for such a central location, probably due to good double glazing."
