"Parking was nightmare. Had to park in the dark, muddy, wet car park and walk to the reception getting covered in mud. Went for a drink in the bar and the girl who didnt speak very good english had the personality of a dead fish. Then when we tried to sleep the room was boiling and the windows didn't open so had an awful nights sleep. Breakfast took ages and we had to watch a group be sat, served and fed before ours turned up. Won't be back but it wasn't a bad hotel. "

Was a bit dark in the room, and hard to work out how to get any lights on - have to go round and individually turn lamps on and there was no hall light near the door so hard to see how to control the heating - not a major issue but a bit odd for a nice hotel. Also could do with USB ports for charging. Parking is very limited, this should be made clearer on the advert - they emailed about it after but you can't cancel then. It's also...

"We were greeted by lovely staff upon arrival. The place is a bit dated but nice and warm and clean. The room was a good size but there were a few cob webs hanging from the ceiling. Other than that a really pleasant stay. A 10/15 min flat walk in to the City walls. We got an uber taxi back later in the evening which cost £4.30. Would stay here again "
