"I never give top score as it leaves no room for improvement. Aquarius was very close though. Friendly staff nice room and nice views. Only thing as an older person is, a non slip shower mat as showers are over a bath and I felt unsafe. Ceiling fans would be good too. Very happy though. "

"I stayed in this property on 14 Nov 2024. The room and facilities are super clean and brand new. The front desk staff is very friendly and gave me very detailed info on how to find the carpark in which location behind the building. It's not easy to find it without the details. It's behind a gate that requires a room key to open it. The room is not big, and the bed is a bit small for 2 people even though I am not a big guy."

"The owners were friendly, lovely people. Everything is in walking distance. Been in front of the strand is perfect. Cross the road & your there. Amazing view. Definitely stay there again, no second thoughts. "

"This is our second stay at Oaks Townsville and we enjoyed it immensely. On both occasions, the front desk staff have been extremely friendly and welcoming, and on both occasions we have received room upgrades which we really appreciated. Our one-bedroom was beautiful - freshly renovated and decorated and had a lovely big balcony. The infinite pool was so inviting after a day of hot weather, and has a great outlook on the river. The public areas of the building could do with a bit of sprucing...
