"Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Both Sinks in the bathroom had missing plugs to stop water draining away. Hot water had to be adjusted. Blind didn’t work in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok, bacon generally undercooked and the Parmesan was too smelly and needed a cloche to stop flies. Staff very approachable. Location good and the shuttle fantastic. "

They recognized that we had a large travel party and suggested chartering a private water taxi to get us to the train station on time. "Good hotel in the heart of Venice. Air conditioning was fantastic, which was a relief after the last two hotels we stayed in. The free breakfast was simple, but very much appreciated. Only nitpicks - There were a few minor things that needed fixing in the bathroom and don't ask the hotel staff for restaurant recommendations. They refused to recommend any restaurant other that the one owned by the hotel owner even when we said we were staying muliple nights."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Foscari Palace but could suggest a couple of improvements. We never saw the bartender that was supposed to be there from 3pm to 8pm both days we were there. A little better signage or explanation on how to get there would also be helpful because it was difficult to find. Once there, the amenities and location are very good and the staff was friendly and accommodating."
