"We liked it all ..nice n clean abit small for 5 0f us 3..Adults n 2 4/5 yr olds ..we enjoyed it very much 👍 But the grounds needs a good going over ,afew weeds about n the recycling ♻️ Bins need to be emptied or bigger Bins .. All in All we enjoyed our stays 😀 "

"The hotel is in a beautiful large older house in the Ponsonby neighborhood. Our room was large and comfortable. It was a short walk from the hotel to a street lined with restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

"Charming B&B! Area is lovely (although it was raining during our stay so we didn’t get as much of a chance to enjoy the location as we would have liked… but it IS breathtaking.) On the bay, lovely walk to town … couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful spot! Hosts are wonderful people … homemade bread and jams, fruit, yogurt and assorted cereals for breakfast… would recommend Dovecote to everyone!"

"Beautiful apartment, way bigger than the pictures look. The bed was amazing! Kat was very nice and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. It’s clear she’s put a lot of thought into everything. Highly recommend!"

"Amazing place for a holiday or even a weekend away like me and my partner booked it for The property is stunning and right on the beach ! The owners make sure you get a great car park out front and the area aside from the beautiful beach has a bunch of scenic walks. There is food places and shops within a 5 minute drive The stay came with every amenity you would ever need and more ! "We liked how the property was within an easy walking distance to Howick Village and Howick Beach. Host Steve was super responsive, welcomed us when we arrived and prepared wine, fruits, cereal and milk for us. He also lets us use the washing machine and hang laundry. The independent studio is accessed through the main house so we had to carry all of our stuff through his house. "We booked the cheapest room for two nights, but when we got there, Andy told us that we're their only guests for the weekend, so they upgraded our room to the suite. 😊 The suite was stunning with a big living room and kitchen, also with ecstatic views.
