"Me and 9 friends were running the NYC marathon to benefit curechm.org and this property was a perfect jump off point for us. If I could give the owner 6 stars for communication I would. If you are like me and have heard rough stories about the Bronx, I encourage you to give it another try! This place is a great launching point for all that NYC has to offer."

"Very chill and big space to stay with your family"

"We stayed here during the NYC marathon and had a great experience. We were able to walk right down the street to cheer on our daughter and all of the runners. The neighborhood was full of great restaurants and coffee shops. Easy walk to Central Park and shopping areas. The condo was quiet, conveniently located on the first floor, very comfortable and met all of our needs. Communication was excellent- when we couldn’t figure out the air conditioning, maintenance was there within 5 minutes to fix...

"It was great. I took my parents for a visit. I usually don't write reviews, but the communication was prompt, and the locale was perfect. The showers either went too hot or too cold, but that's a thing with old properties anyway. Had a good enjoyable stay and will stay again. "

"This was my first stay in a VRBO in NYC. The property was clean and easily accessible to transportation and restaurants. The room was excellent. Very clean and stocked with all the necessary items. The bed was extremely comfortable and linens were very soft. I would definitely stay at this location again."

"Accurate listing, great location. We were traveling with one in wheelchair and the elevator that was working was so small we had to get him out of the chair in order to use it. The other elevator was not in service and we were promised it would be fixed the second day but it was not. There was a couple of nails poking out of the floor in our room that we put a towel over so as not to step on. It is a cool old building with lots of history though. "
