"I didn’t know what to expect as most of the hotels were fully booked for the Snow Festival. I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel was close to Odori Park for the snow sculptures. It’s steps away from Tanukikoji shopping street and easy access to underground shopping mall hence to Susukino for the ice sculptures. There are multiple convenient shops close by. Subways are accessible via the underground shopping mall. It’s a bit of a walk from Sapporo Station in the snow so we took a taxi that cost...

"We came here for the annual Sapporo Snow Festival. The location of the hotel is very close to the main site at Odori Park. The Nijo market is within walking distance. Location wise is great. The hotel is old (using an actual key to unlock the room, so you get the idea). The room is clean so it serves the purpose. "

"The only reason its a 4 out of 5 is because of the nature of the "rooms". I opted for a standard room which is nothing more than a single bed in a cubby in the wall. I knew that when i booked, so it wasnt a problem, but its not what I'd call 5 star accommodation. That said, the staff and common areas were great, the place was clean, and the onsen was great too."

"Price is affortable but don't expect a big room. Locaton isn't too bad and will take approxiately 7-10 mins walking time to train station. One thing I am not happy is ... the hotel forces you to pay daily hot spring bath tub (charged per person) no matter you will use or not. The pajamas that hotel provides are smelly(strong body odor). "It is so close to Odori park and other interesting sights. It was easy to go where we wanted and have a comfortable room to rest in between adventures. I do wish they would allow stair access. When tour groups with their luggage were moving in or out, there was a very long wait for the two small elevators. Why can't we choose to use the stairs?"
