"We had an amazing time from the moment we called to see if we could get an early check-in and got the blessing from Megan who gave us the go ahead to come on in as they already a room ready for us. We had a corner oceanfront room and - even on the stormy Rainy day - it was just so wonderful to sit out on the balcony enjoying the view. We were so relaxed and it was just a dream getaway. "First, this property is cool if you know what you are getting into. This is way off the off the grid living. You are staying on a lava field in a shipping container. That is the cool part. It is remote, and just wow for sunset and sunrise. The host, Ron, was nice and communicated well. "What a beautiful slice of paradise—a little sweet cottage with everything we needed —off the grid (but still close enough to groceries and great restaurants) with excellent hikes and beaches nearby.
