"Our stay at Risonare was awful from start to finish. When we arrived they told us there would be a significant extra fee for our 1-year-old to stay with us (I was pretty sure we booked the reservation with a child included, but regardless, this is the only hotel out of 6 that we stayed at in Japan that charged extra for a child under 2 years old). "This place had a great location for the Osakako Station on the Chuo line and was walking distance to the Osaka Aquarium and the Giant Ferris Wheel. Quiet area but we were not out past 8pm any night. A few dining options, small but good.
The room was very nice, great shower! The bed was very hard. But when I needed additional bedding it was brought up promptly. This is an unmanned place but the staff were responsive to messages. The room was clean but there were some stains on the carpet.
The area for laundry was outside and the hall you had to walk through was dirty with a bad smell like trash. "
