"The room is big It compares the same price hotels. I like interiors and furniture of wooden chairs and tables. It has perfect location by train and bus stations. Recommend to all of my friends when they stay in Takayama areas."

We booked it via Expedia for 3 adults and one15 yrs old, but it was appare fly a triple room so they charged us for an extra adult even though there was not really sleep space for 4 people. I’m not sure if the confusion was at the Expedia website or the property but they should either change the children definition age or at least warn tourists about it. "

"We took the Hida from Nagoya and as soon as you exit, it is a shoe 5-minute walk to your right. The check in was through a kiosk and staff was there to assist if needed. After checking in, the staff explained all of the features of the hotel including the barefoot policy, the onsen and the included nightly ramen service. Our room was spacious with a tea service container on the table. The amenities included a double and single bed, refrigerator, makeup area for my wife, a television (never used while we were there!), and a very nice bathroom. The onsen on the 13th floor had a waiting area with public men’s and women’s onsens along with three private onsens. Also on the 13th floor was a laundry room with two washers and two dryers. Washing was free and the dryer cost 100Y for 20 min. The hotel was very close (10 min walk) to the old town and the daily Miyagawa outdoor market. An amazing hotel that I’d recommend 100%!"
