"We loved this hotel! There are stairs to get to our room which felt like we were in the attic - we packed pretty light and they helped us up with our 4 hand carries! They turned on the AC so when we arrived it was very comfortable in our room for 4. There’s a skylight in our bathroom with a very cool

like shower! My kids were delighted and loved it so much they wanted the rest of our hotels to be like this one. We were steps away from the Pisa and went walking in the scorching heat...

"I love old classics hotels & this 1 fits the bill perfectly. The place is very well maintained, clean & friendly desk person. It has history for sure & is not you average hotel, all the floors are unique & have lots of antiques. My room was very good, although the bed could have been a little firmer. The bathroom was fun with a great tub. The breakfast was very good but get there early as things tend to run out. I would stay here again. The hotel is very well located overlooking the river. "

"For the resort its self it was gorgeous and well worthy of the five stars it has, both pools are amazing, however the one thing the area lacked was food places as within a 20 minute walk there was one restaurant going one way and the other one was 5 minute walk away but they both didn’t offer much selection "
