"The Grand Hyatt Playa Del Carmen Resort is an oceanfront resort on a stretch of white sand facing the Mexican Caribbean. It's located close to attractions like the famous Fifth Avenue. The hotel is on what some consider the nicest stretch of beach in Playa Del Carmen, offering guests the convenience of walking into town for local culture. The Grand Hyatt offers a clean and convenient stay with its proximity to town. However, the lack of readily accessible ice machines is a drawback, requiring guests to call the front desk for ice. Another noticeable issue was the staff's visible use of cell phones. While the Club access provides breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and dinner from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m., it should not be mistaken for an all-inclusive package. Stop by the Club located on the 4th floor and say hello to Angel, Maria, Marcella and Anna. The spa was awesome but can get busy at times! I would suggest foin into town to eat. Try the Caribbean restaurant Roots Jamaican Kitchen (you'll see a Jamaican flag with owner and bartenders Marvin) to the right hand just at the entrance that opens after 3:30PM. The entertainment was also fun - from daytime activities to nighttime shows and dancing. Also, the spa was very relaxing as well. Highly recommend!"

Restaurants were also decent (my favourite was the Hibachi) Most importantly, the entertainment/activities throughout the day was so much fun and there was always something to do! Kendall made such a difference in our trip with his amazing personality, humour and energy. Looking forward to coming back sometime. "

"Not as many restaurants as other all inclusive we have stayed at BUT the food was very good at the restaurants you needed reservations at. Sad to not have much of a beach but they are working on it."
